Meet Aloe, a 5-6 month-old pittie puppy at the Wood County Dog Shelter, who is looking for a new home. She is a petite girl, weighing 17 pounds, who is not going to get much bigger than she is now.
“She loves hanging out in the office and will always greet you with a tail wag and smile. She seems to love the other dogs, and wants to be best friends with everyone,” Wood County Chief Dog Warden Jodi Harding said.
The adoption fee for all shelter dogs is $89, which includes a $14 Wood County dog license, and $75 vet voucher toward spay/neuter and vaccines if needed.
The hours for the shelter are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
