Sometimes a special person comes along who is uniquely qualified for a political office. Megan Newlove is that person, and judge of the Wood County Juvenile and Probate Court is that office.
Megan has practiced law in Wood County for 30 years. She has earned the trust and respect of the judges and lawyers she works with and the clients she represents.
Megan has a broad range of experience in both the probate and juvenile courts. She has represented families, children, guardians, executors, and beneficiaries with empathy, concern, understanding, and judgment, while respecting the dignity of all participants. She has a sharp legal mind, the highest integrity, and an absolute belief in justice and fairness.
In addition to her active practice of law, she created and operated her own land title agency. Many of us lawyers routinely sought her assistance in real estate law matters. Megan was always ready to help younger attorneys and freely gave of her time as a mentor.
Megan has also served the Bowling Green community as a member of city council, where she was always prepared and well-informed on the issues facing the city. Furthermore, Megan was appointed to the BGSU board of trustees and served with distinction and responsibility during a time of unprecedented growth, both in numbers and quality of instruction. In both positions, Megan showed her deep commitment to public service and performed her obligations extremely well. We can expect her to do the same as judge.
Megan is truly uniquely qualified by experience and personal qualities to continue her public service to the Wood County community as juvenile/probate court judge.
