From BOWLING GREEN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce and the entirety of the Four Corners Center + COWORK are thrilled to announce a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the new location on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 4 p.m., at 248 S. Main St., Bowling Green.
On Sept. 14, the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce, VisitBG Ohio, Downtown Bowling Green Special Improvement District, and Bowling Green Economic Development moved into an historic building in downtown Bowling Green.
“We felt that renovating this historic building was a meaningful project, gives the Four Corners a permanent home, and offers a brand new cowork space in a vibrant, modern setting,” said Jenny Bowers, development manager for Bowling Green Economic Development.
Governor Mike DeWine also stated that the move would make the Four Corners Center + COWORK “an integral part of Bowling Green, spark[ing] job growth in the community.”
The new coworking space offers private offices and cubicles, the Falcon and Bobcat Conference Rooms, and direct access to Four Corners staff for local professionals, startups, and branch units.
This evolution of the Four Corners was made possible through the efforts of Bowling Green Economic Development. The first-in-kind project for the organization resulted in a ~$1.5 million investment into downtown Bowling Green, while restoring a vacant building to meaningful use.
Funding partners made this project feasible, including a $487,000 JobsOhio Vibrant Communities Grant, a grant from Meta, and a rebate from Efficiency Smart. At the ribbon-cutting, Kati Thompson of Bowling Green Economic Development will voice thanks on behalf of the Four Corners Center + COWORK.
The public is invited to join the free celebration. To RSVP, visit https://www.bgchamber.net/rsvp/ or call 419-353-7945.
