Betty E. Westerhaus, age 92, of Pemberville, OH passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Wood Haven Care Center Bowling Green, OH. She was born on January 13, 1924 in Fremont, OH to Frank and Rose (Woodruff) Elliott. She married Paul H. Westerhaus on February 10, 1945 in Fayetteville, N.C. and he preceded her in death on December 4, 2008. For many years she worked as a Library Assistant at the Pemberville Public Library.
Betty is survived by her Children: Michael (Regina) Westerhaus and Mark (Joanne) Westerhaus, grandchildren: Erika, Jason, Kendra, Briton, great grandchildren and sister-in-law: Jane Westerhaus. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband: Paul.
A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 11:30 AM from Pemberville Cemetery. Memorials may take the form of contributions to a charity of the donor’s choice.
