The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce has announced that the recipient of its investor grant for the first quarter of 2026 is Murrey’s Movers.
Since launching in 2023, Shawn Murrey has built and operated Murrey’s Movers without outside funding or investors, achieving consistent year-over-year revenue growth and steadily expanding service offerings. To further strengthen the business, Murrey is investing in his professional development by attending a hands-on training program in Georgia, focused on improving operations, efficiency, and customer experience within the moving industry.
Murrey applied for the investor grant to support the purchase of a customer relationship management system (CRM). This investment is intended to streamline operations, enhance service delivery, and position the company for sustainable growth.
“The goal is to move beyond survival mode and continue building a business that reliably serves our community,” Murrey said.
Murrey’s Movers remains committed to providing families and individuals with dependable, professional moving services in Bowling Green and the surrounding region.
The quarterly investor grants are available to all investors in good standing at the chamber, and the application is available online. The grant provides a chamber investor up to $1,000 that can offset the cost of an employee training program, the purchase of business-related equipment, or apply towards the offset of a BGSU/Owens student internship. The deadline for second quarter grant submission is June 30.
