A proud 1956 graduate of Montgomery Local High School, Betty dedicated 32 years of her career as the first female set-up/operations at the former Bendix Autolite in Fostoria. Her strong work ethic and commitment were a testament to her character.

Betty found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. She was incredibly talented with her hands, spending countless hours sewing, crocheting, and painting ceramics. She also had an impressive spoon collection and a special fondness for owls—collecting anything and everything adorned with them. In quieter moments, she enjoyed watching game shows and working on puzzles.

In her younger years, Betty had a passion for basketball, not only playing the game but also giving back as a referee. She and her husband shared a love for bowling, participating in leagues together, where Betty proudly earned trophies along the way.

Betty and her husband built a life filled with adventure. They loved traveling, boating, and camping, often bringing their children along to create lasting family memories. Betty’s adventurous side shined through as she rode her own motorcycle, and together they enjoyed many memorable motorcycle trips.  Above all, Betty will be remembered for her love of family, her creativity, her sense of fun, and the many ways she made life special for those around her.

Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
