From BOWLING GREEN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce and Trotters Tavern have announced the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new outdoor dining area, “The Stable.” The event is set to take place on Tuesday, July 28, at 11 a.m., at 119 N. Main St., Bowling Green.
Greg and Heather Shepherd, owners of Trotters Tavern, are excited to unveil this new addition aimed at enhancing the dining experience for their patrons. This expansion has not only added additional jobs to the community but has also revitalized the surrounding area in collaboration with the city of Bowling Greens’ alley project, specifically Union Alley, which is located directly behind Trotters Tavern.
The journey began over a year ago when the concept of a dumpster unification project was initiated to clean up Union Alley. The project reached completion alongside the creation of Bowling Green’s newest patio bar. The Shepherds extend their gratitude to everyone involved in making this vision a reality. “The Stable” will now provide seating for an additional 22 individuals, offering a new space for resident and visitors of Bowling Green to enjoy.
Outdoor dining has been a favored choice for many customers, and “The Stable” aims to elevate this experience. The back patio bar was constructed for this project, featuring a 65-inch television, barstools, picnic tables, along with other enhancements, helping to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable environment.
The success of this project speaks to the collaboration with various local entities. Trotters Tavern worked with Downtown BG SID, the City of Bowling Green, Wood County Health Department, and Bowling Green Fire Department. The high level of cooperation and communication was crucial in beautifying one of Bowling Green’s many alleys.
The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce invites the public to join in celebrating this new space in the city of Bowling Green. To secure a spot, RSVP at https://www.bgchamber.net/rsvp/ or call the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce at 419-353-7945.
