The Bowling Green Education Association Executive Committee has endorsed current Bowling Green Board of Education members Norm Geer and Ryan Myers for the Nov. 2 election.
“The BGEA Executive Committee, after discussion, voted to endorse the two incumbents who are running for re-election for the Bowling Green Board of Education,” a statement from the organization read.
“It is always difficult for the association to enter the realm of endorsement of board candidates, however, after discussion, the Executive Committee felt that the endorsement of the incumbents was in the best interest of the schools. We realize that not all members may think alike, but the governing body of the association felt that this action should be taken.”
