BG man killed, Bradner man in critical condition after crash

The Wood County Sheriff’s Office investigated a fatal single vehicle crash Friday at 7:13 p.m. 

The crash occurred on Greensburg Pike, west of the intersection with Timmons Road, south of the Village of Bradner in Montgomery Township.

The crash involved a westbound Dodge Ram. The initial investigation has indicated that the truck ran off the right side of the roadway, overturned and struck several trees off the north side of the roadway then catching fire.

The occupants of the Dodge Ram were identified as Nolan Garner, 21, of Bradner, and Larry Lawniczak III, 24, of Bowling Green. Garner was transported to St. Vincent Medical Center by air ambulance where he is in critical condition. Lawniczak was transported to Fostoria Community Hospital by Southeast 150 EMS where he was pronounced dead.

The incident is still under investigation and was assisted by Southeast 150 EMS, Bradner Fire and Wayne Fire as well as Reinhart’s Automotive.
