Bowling Green Police patrolling in the downtown area Sunday around 12:34 a.m., arrested two people in the 200 block of North Main Street.
Darkwan Earl, 21, Toledo, was arrested for allegedly smoking marijuana while standing next to a running Ram 1500. Earl reportedly told police he didn’t have any identification, and gave officers a false name and date of birth.
Bran’di Langston, 20, Florida, was reportedly in the driver’s seat. Inside the truck, police noted they found half empty bottles of tequila, brandy and other alcoholic beverages, marijuana, plus a loaded handgun and a magazine with 25 rounds in it.
Langston was charged with improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, and underage possession of marijuana. Earl was arrested for smoking marijuana in public. Both were taken to Wood County Jail.
