Bowling Green Police charged a man with domestic violence against a pregnant victim, after a caller reported witnessing the assault.
Jonathan Palmer IV, 23, of Cincinnati, was taken to Wood County Jail.
Police were called on Sunday (Sept. 3) around 9 a.m. after two witnesses reported seeing a man choke a woman in the 100 block of Manville Avenue. Officers were then advised that the couple were arguing and walking eastbound on East Wooster Street.
Witnesses who were driving past told police they saw Palmer grab the woman by the neck, then tackle her to the ground with his body on top of her. The woman is reportedly five months pregnant.
