Bowling Green Police Division arrested a man for domestic violence after he allegedly threatened to burn down an apartment with his significant other and their child inside, according to BG Police Major Justin White.
Michael Knowles, 31, was arrested Wednesday around 1:08 a.m., after the victim called police to say he was banging on their apartment door in the 1500 block of Clough Street.
When police arrived, the victim said Knowles told her he was going to set fire to the apartment with her and the child inside.
Knowles, who has a previous conviction for aggravated menacing, was taken to the Wood County Jail.
