BG police investigating aggravated robbery involving teens

Bowling Green Police Division is investigating an aggravated robbery outside a home on West Wooster Street.

At 1:18 p.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 30, the Bowling Green Police Division responded to the area of 514 W. Wooster St. for a possible gunshot and subjects running from the area. 

Officers arrived and were able to make contact with witnesses and the involved subjects.  During the investigation, officers determined that the incident was reportedly a result of a planned robbery of an alleged drug dealer.  During the robbery a physical altercation occurred between subjects and one subject reportedly fired a gun.

Christopher Vandersall, 17, from Rudolph, was arrested for aggravated robbery and lodged in the Wood County Juvenile Detention Center.

Nathaniel Medrano, 17, from Bowling Green, was arrested for trafficking in drugs and lodged in the Wood County Juvenile Detention Center.

Several other involved subjects have been identified and charges are pending.  The investigation is ongoing.
