Bowling Green Board of Education voted Tuesday evening to reduce the hours of 24 employees.
Since the district is starting the school year with all classes online, there is a lack of work for some employees. The reduction in force affects six food service workers and 18 bus drivers.
The district is still providing food for some students in need, and providing bus transportation for other schools in Bowling Green and for Penta Career Center.
Last month, the board laid off 34 food service and secretarial staff.
The board will re-evaluate its decision to hold online, in person, or a hybrid form of classes on Oct. 9.
