BG to host Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure Community Festival in Wooster Green

GOBA riders set up their tents at the Wood County Fairgrounds during ride in 2019.

As the host of the Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure, Bowling Green will hold a free community event on Sunday, June 15, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Wooster Green, at the corner of South Church Street and West Wooster Street.

The Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure Community Festival will transform the Wooster Green into a celebration with live music by Ginger and the Snaps, mini golf, and dancing ribbons for the kids.

Each year, the Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure explores regions of Ohio on a seven-day tour on bicycles.

Bowling Green will be the host community in 2025 from June 13-15. According to Jeff Stephens, director of GOBA, BG will be hosting around 800-1,000 cyclists. Cyclists will be staying at the Wood County Fairgrounds Father’s Day weekend.

They will be provided with shuttles into the downtown.

In the event of inclement weather, the GOBA Community Festival will be held inside the Pratt Pavilion at the Wood County Fairgrounds, 13800 W. Poe Road. Weather updates will be posted on the Visit BG Instagram and Facebook.
