Bowling Green Police cited a woman for assault after she reportedly beat up two women at a bar in the 100 block of North Main Street, on Friday, around 9 p.m.
Marisa Garner, 20, of Bowling Green, was cited after two women went to the police station to report being assaulted in the front patio area of the bar.
Police reviewed downtown video footage from a camera located in the 100 block of North Main Street positioned directly facing the patio area. The footage reportedly shows Garner grabbing one woman and throwing her to the ground, then jumping on top of the woman and striking her numerous times.
The footage then showed another woman pulling Garner off the victim on the ground. Garner reportedly then began striking the second woman multiple times before throwing her to the ground.
