Boyle named BGHS Student of the Month by BG Exchange Club

The Bowling Green Exchange Club and Bowling Green High School have announced that Elise E. Boyle is the April 2021 Student of the Month. Elise is a senior at Bowling Green High School and will graduate on June 6. She is the daughter of Joseph and Kathryn Boyle of Bowling Green.

Elise’s academic awards include membership in the National Honor Society, National French Honor Society, and she was a Buckeye Girls State Delegate in 2020. She is a member of the French Club (vice president), Student Activities Board (executive board officer), Drama Club, Superintendent’s Advisory Board, BGHS Tennis Team (co-captain), and she was selected for the 2020 Rose Court. She was a national finalist in National History Day in 2016, and placed second in the 2019 Fall Frenzy.

Elise has a lot of volunteer experience, serving as the student representative on the Bowling Green Human Relations Commission, Not In Our Town, Black Swamp Arts Festival, two presidential campaigns, Firefly Nights, BG School Bond Issue, and the Cleveland Clinic’s Velosano in 2015, sharing stories of cyclists raising funds for cancer research. She worked last summer as a nanny for a family and has worked at Sunset Bistro as a cook.

Her plans after BGHS include attending Bowling Green State University to major in political science, with a long-term goal of being an attorney.
