Daniel Lee Hines, 72, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away August 8, 2024 with his family by his side. He was born March 20, 1952 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Robert Hines and Loretta (Ealey) Romaker.
Dan was an avid golfer and a member of the Bowling Green Country Club. He was inducted into the Bowling Green Bowling Hall of Fame. Dan was former coach for BG Youth Baseball and CYO girls basketball, enjoyed spending time fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his children Pamela Hines-Dunn (Troy) of Bowling Green, Ohio and Chris Hines (Amber) of Bowling Green, former wife and friend Jean Hines, grandchildren Lydia Dunn, Jackson Dunn, Brendan Hines and Julia Hines and siblings Bob Hines, Tony Romaker, Beverly Malone, Jeff Hines, Sandy Hinton, Audrey Hutton and Carol Konrad.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Barb Boyer and Pam Hines.
A celebration of life gathering will be at the Bowling Green Country Club on August 17th at 1:00 p.m. This will be an informal gathering of friends and family. Lunch and beverages will be provided. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
