David Warner Jr

David Warner Jr., 58, of Portage, Ohio, passed away on January 16, 2025. David was born on April 6, 1966, in Fullerton, California, to David Michael Sr. and Janice (Bechstein) Warner.

David proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. After his military service, he worked as a skilled mechanic, dedicating his career to problem-solving and fixing what others could not. In his free time, David had a passion for building intricate models of military tanks and planes, which he often entered into the Wood County Fair, showcasing his craftsmanship and dedication to the hobby. a hobby that reflected his attention to detail and love for history. He also enjoyed spending time on the farm, a pastime that brought him peace and connection to the land.

David is survived by his beloved mother, Janice Warner; his children, John Warner and April Warner; his siblings, Tamara Crawford and Christopher Warner. He was preceded in death by his father, David Michael Sr., and his cherished daughter, Lillian Warner.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Aloysius Church, located at 150 S Enterprise St, Bowling Green, Ohio. Burial will immediately follow at Sargent Cemetery. David will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his service to his country, and the joy he found in the simple, meaningful moments of life. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
