Douglas Lee Firsdon, age 59, of Wayne, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
Doug was born in Bowling Green, Ohio to Jack and Ruth (Van Vorhis) Firsdon on July 3, 1967. He attended Elmwood High School and graduated in 1985. Doug married his wife Lori on November 5, 1994. Last year they celebrated 31 years together.
He enjoyed camping, vacationing, watching Ohio State football, and spending time with his grandkids. Being the best Pa meant the world to him. He also enjoyed going to NASCAR races with friends and cheering on #3.
Doug is survived by his wife Lori (Sedlak) Firsdon, his three children Jessica Preston (Justin), Jacob Firsdon (Molly) and Joshua Firsdon; 6 grandchildren Brody, Dexter, Aiden, Canaan, Tate and Maya, dad Jack Firsdon and sisters Lori Firsdon, Amy Schroeder (Mike), Kathi Iott (Brian) and niece Madison (Zach) and nephews Colin and Chase.
He is preceded in death by mother Ruth and granddaughter Erika.
A celebration of life will be held 12- 3 p.m., Saturday, September 19, 2026 at the Pemberville American Legion Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a foundation of your choice in honor of Doug.
