The driver killed in a snowmobile crash Monday night has been identified as Gary L. Scott, of Perrysburg.
Shortly before midnight, the Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to an injury crash involving three snowmobiles in the 19500 block of U.S. 6, near the railroad tracks by Ohio 235 in Weston Township.
The three snowmobiles were operating on private property, and Scott reportedly died at the scene. Another snowmobile operator, Derrick Duncan of Bowling Green, was transported for his injuries. The third operator was treated and released from the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
Update: Duncan died Feb. 6 of his injuries.
