Georgia Ellen Strong, 78, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Sunday December 27, 2020. She was born in Ironwood Michigan August 4, 1942 to the late George Condon and Mary (Martin) Lula. She married Kenneth Strong June 23, 1977 and he preceded her in death February 5, 2004.
Georgia served her country proudly as a Staff Sargent in the United States Army during the 2nd Gulf War. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, scrap booking and attending flea markets. She was a member of the Red Hat Lady’s and a member of the VFW in Michigan. She loved animals and enjoyed spending time at the Wood County Senior Center.
She is survived by her brother Daniel W. Condon of Michigan, nephews Matthew G. Condon (Ruby) of Milton Center, Ohio and Daniel P. Condon (Lori Parratt) of Wayne, Ohio, niece Sara Koepfler of Toledo, Ohio, 7 great-nieces, 5 great-nephews and 1 great-great nephew.
Georgia will be laid to rest at Burr Oak Cemetery in Burr Oak, Michigan. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
