From HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF WOOD COUNTY
In celebration of Earth Day, Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Bowling Green invites community members to responsibly recycle unwanted electronics at a one-day event on Wednesday, April 22, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The event will take place at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, 829 W. Newton Road, and is open to the public at no cost.
Residents are encouraged to bring a wide range of unwanted electronics for proper recycling. Accepted items include small household electronics, computers, printers, and accessories.
Television and computer monitors will not be accepted at this event.
This Earth Day initiative is made possible in partnership with AIM Recycling, helping ensure collected electronics are processed responsibly and sustainably. The event aims to reduce electronic waste and promote environmentally conscious disposal practices within the community.
“We’re proud to partner with AIM Recycling to offer a convenient and eco-friendly way for residents to recycle electronics this Earth Day,” said Robin Swanson, ReStore manager. “This event gives our community an easy opportunity to make a positive environmental impact while supporting Habitat for Humanity’s mission.”
By participating, community members can help keep harmful materials out of landfills while contributing to Habitat for Humanity’s work to build safe, affordable housing in Wood County.
