John A. Booth, 74, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Tuesday August 30, 2016. He was born March 13, 1942 in Grand Rapids, Ohio to Clifford and Meredith (Heckler) Booth. He married Ida M. Morelock on July 1, 1961 and she survives in Bowling Green.
John enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Grand Rapids American Legion. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and beloved canine companion Ginger.
Along with his wife of 55 years, Ida, John is survived by his sons John Booth Jr. of Perrysburg, Ohio and Michael (Amy) Booth of Bowling Green, Ohio, daughter Michelle (Kurt) Mazey of Weston, Ohio, 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, brother Dan (Carol) Booth of Grand Rapids, Ohio and sister Ellen Bowser of Grand Rapids, Ohio.
Visitation will be held on Thursday September 1, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00pm at Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home, 18620 Washington Street Tontogany, Ohio. Funeral Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
