Lois A Burden

Lois A. (Fintel) Burden, 78, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away on August 4, 2026, at Brookdale Clare Bridge of Bowling Green. She was born November 1, 1947, in Napoleon Ohio, to the late William and Hilda (Dachenhaus) Fintel. She married William E. Burden on November 10, 1979, and they were together until Bill passed away in 2003.

Lois is survived by her sister Bernice Lohman, brother-in-law Dewayne Lohman, sister-in-law Barbee Fintel and 16 nieces and nephews. Lois was predeceased by her parents, her husband, her brothers Willis, Vernon and Irvin Fintel, her sister Helen Gobrogge, brother-in-law Melvin Gobrogge, sister-in-law Lorna Fintel, and two nieces; Deborah Maxey and Laurie Fouts.

Lois attended Hamler High School and worked many years as a secretary / data analyst for the Reynolds Company before retirement. She was also co-owner of her husband’s business Best Computes, LLC in Altamonte Springs Florida, where they manufactured devices to clean hearing aids. Lois took pleasure in her garden full of award-winning orchids, many friends in Orlando where they celebrated holidays together, played Bunko, attended theater and wine tastings. She also enjoyed visiting back in Ohio for the Hamler Summerfest. Volunteering for special events at Disney World including many marathons and parades was another of her passions. Lois was a very caring person and always willing to help a friend in a time of need.

A memorial and interment service will be held at Hope Lutheran Church on August 27, 2026 at 11:00AM with the interment in the cemetery immediately following.
