Office of Campus Sustainability collecting electronics to be recycled

The BGSU Office of Campus Sustainability with AIM Ecycling will hold an Electronics Recycling Drive Saturday, April 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Slater Family Ice Arena Parking Lot (Lot 10), 417 N. Mercer Road.

Recycle your electronics for free, Clean out those garages, basements and attics.  More than 50 million of electronic waste are produced annually in the U.S. with the majority ending up in landfills. This is your chance to recycle unwanted/outdated electronic devices in an environmentally safe/responsible manner. Includes certified destruction of hard drives and personal information/data bearing devices.

Recycle anything with a plug or that used batteries:   We will take computers, laptops, monitors, printers and other IT equipment, wires, cables, cords, headphones, cameras, AV, video games, VCRs, DVD players, household appliances, electronic tools, batteries, fans and much more.

Flat screen TVs are the only  type of TV accepted. No tube TV or CRT screens and no VHS/cassette tapes, DVD, CDs, floppy discs or similar items.
