The 22nd annual Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Foundation Wine & Cheese Social and Auction, one of the community’s most popular fall events, will be held Friday, Sept. 22 at the Simpson Building, 1291 Conneaut Ave.
News anchor Jerry Anderson will again be guest auctioneer for the fundraiser. There will be both a live and silent auction. Proceeds this year have been designated to go toward the interior renovations of the Rotary Nature Center located in the Wintergarden/St. John’s Nature Preserve.
New this year will be the serving of a specially brewed beer, Parks & Rec Red, by BG Beer Works and a Guess A Cork Game.
Tickets, $45 each before Sept. 15, and $50 each after Sept. 15 and at the door, can be obtained at the Parks and Recreation Administrative office in the Simpson Building or purchased by calling 419-354-6297.
