Downtown Pemberville is preparing for its annual garden parties starting on May 24. The parties are scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. on the fourth Tuesdays of each month through September.
Each farmer’s market will have entertainers to set the summer mood.
The vendors include: Hutchison Family Farms, LLC – maple syrup, fresh milled flour, fresh produce, pumpkins, and squash; Stony Ridge United Methodist Church – handcrafted bowl holders and kitchen boas, homemade treats and edibles; Harold Leemaster – soap, lotion, creams, and herbal salves; North Branch Nursery – perennials and flowering shrubs; Cynthia Lohrbach – decorative garden totems; Ruth Hasselman – assorted knitted, crocheted, woven, and quilted items; The Hot Pad Guy – hand-loomed hot pads; Pallets by Luann – hand-crafted wood items; Grandma Jean’s Handmade Soaps; Mrs. Miller’s Amish Jams & Jellies and homemade strawberry shortcake by Beeker’s; Country Cupboard Ohio – country crafts and décor; Riverbank Antiques – garden antiques and accessories; and Toft’s hand-dipped ice cream and novelties by Beeker’s.
Organizers are always looking for more vendors to sell fresh produce, plants, and outdoor and handmade items. Interested vendors should call 419-287-3274 for more information. A fee is required in advance to hold a space. Each vendor occupies a space in front of Pemberville’s downtown businesses.
