Piqua man in BG for graduation festivities arrested by BGPD for domestic violence

A man visiting Bowling Green for a BGSU graduation celebration was arrested Sunday for domestic violence and underage under the influence of alcohol.

BG Police were called around 3 a.m. to an apartment in the 300 block of East Court Street. Responding officers found blood smeared on the front door, blood throughout the apartment, a shattered mirror and a seat ripped off a toilet.

Witnesses in the apartment said Jyston Malveaux, 20, of Piqua, was visiting his girlfriend in Bowling Green, and reportedly became violent. He left the scene.

Malveaux returned to the apartment later that night and police arrested him. He appeared intoxicated and had a fake ID stating he was of drinking age.
