Portion of Ohio 65 to close, overnight lane restrictions on I-475 to begin Monday

State Route 65, between State Route 235 and Brillheart Road, will be closed for a culvert replacement beginning Monday, July 13, for 75 days.

Ohio 65, between Ohio 235 and Brillhart Road, will be closed for a culvert replacement beginning Monday, July 13, for 75 days. The detour will be Route 235 to U.S. 6 to Ohio 25 to Ohio 582 to Route 65 and vise versa.

Overnight lane restrictions on I-475 south will also begin on Monday night. Southbound I-475, between U.S. 24 and Ohio 25, will experience nightly lane restrictions for surface course paving and final striping beginning July 13, 9 p.m. – 6 a.m., nightly through late July.

Other projects in Wood County include:

U.S. 20, between Ohio 420 and Ohio 105, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through mid-July.

Ohio 64, between Kellogg Road and Bishop Road, is now open following a bridge replacement.

Route 65, between Eagle Point Road and Colony Road, is closed for a bridge replacement through mid-August. Detour: route 65 to I-75 to Route 25 to Route 65.

Ohio 795 over I-75, between the I-75 northbound and southbound ramps, is closed for bridge deck replacement through Monday, July 13. Westbound detour: Northbound I-75 to Buck Road to southbound I-75 to Route 795. Eastbound detour: Southbound I-75 to Fremont Pike to northbound I-75 to Route 795.

  • I-75 overnight lane restrictions for falsework removal under the Route 795 structure will begin Sunday, July 12, overnight 9 p.m.-6 a.m. daily. I-75 may be reduced to one lane during overnight hours.
