I am pleased to write this letter in support of Paul Dobson for his candidacy for judge of the Wood County Court of Common Pleas.
I have had the opportunity to know Paul Dobson for over 20 years and have witnessed firsthand his commitment to the law, professionalism, and dedication to public service. Throughout his career as a prosecutor, Paul has demonstrated the qualities that are essential to serving effectively as a common pleas judge.
As a prosecutor, Paul has developed extensive courtroom experience and a thorough understanding of the criminal justice system. His work requires careful preparation, sound legal reasoning, attention to detail, and the ability to make difficult decisions while treating everyone involved in the judicial process with fairness and respect. He consistently approaches these responsibilities with professionalism and integrity.
One of Paul’s greatest strengths is his ability to listen carefully, evaluate the facts, and apply the law thoughtfully. He understands that every case involves real people and that decisions made in the courtroom can have lasting consequences. His experience working with victims, defendants, law enforcement, attorneys, and the courts has provided him with a broad perspective on the responsibilities of the judiciary.
I have also been impressed by Paul’s character and commitment to serving the community. He conducts himself with honesty, respect, and accountability, and he understands the importance of maintaining public confidence in our justice system.
Based on my experience with Paul Dobson, I believe he possesses the legal knowledge, courtroom experience, temperament, integrity, and commitment necessary to serve as a common pleas court judge. I am pleased to recommend Paul Dobson and appreciate your consideration of his qualifications.
