Sandra “Sandy” Ayers, 70, of Findlay and formerly of North Baltimore, died on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at her residence. She was born on November 11, 1955, in Mt. Sterling, OH to the late Donald and Arnetta (Glant) Ayers. She married Kenneth W. Frankforther and they were divorced.
Sandy is survived by her sons: Mike (Chelsi) Frankforther of Arcadia, Kenneth (Rhonda) Frankforther of Findlay and Jason (Christina) Frankforther of Findlay; daughter, Beverly Frankforther of Findlay; brothers: Mike (Linda) Ayers of Bloomdale, Pat (Viv) Ayers of Bluffton, and Donald (Nancy) Ayers of Monclova; sisters: Donna Carlton of North Baltimore and Beth (Mark Cheney) Sterling of Findlay; grandchildren: Alicia, Brianna, Kaleb, Marshall, Aiden, Elliana, Edward and Zara; and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Rick Ayers.
Sandy retired from Sanoh America. She loved spending her time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 3:00-5:00 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2026, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore.
