It’s the most wonderful time of the year – and your best small town market is ready to start the holidays with a bang. On Nov. 28 from 3-6 p.m. during Winter Market, Ole Saint Nick will be ready to greet all market goers who have been naughty or nice.
Thanks to the sponsorship from Funkytown Photo booth and Paramount Advantage Medicaid, free 4 by 6 printed photos will be handed out with all customers who take pics with the jolly elf himself. Another thank you to BG Kiwanis for helping Santa arrive safely from the North Pole! The Market will be accepting donations for Kiwanis’ Salvation Army Holiday endeavor.
Make sure to come to market early to enjoy some amazing vendors providing local goods. River Valley Pasta will have there signature pasta flavor lineup available, and Bella Cuisine will be stocked with breads, cookies, mini pies and more. Viking Coffee also has a new Latte that is a must try.
Just Jammin & Stuff will be back with a variety of flavors of her jams and jellies. She always has samples available to try before you buy. Speaking of samples, BGSU Training Kitchen has been utilizing our vendors local products all season to make a fun recipe and sample for all market-goers. This specific week they have Riehm Produce Farms Sweet Potatoes.
Z Farms will have a fresh variety of mushrooms, and Maumee Greens will be back with their micro greens and starter kits. Clay Hill Organic & Dirty Feet Gardens will provide some limited produce and dried flower holiday wreaths.
Winter Market takes place at 331 N. Main St., in the District 419 event space attached to Calico, Sage & Thyme. Please come down and start the Christmas Season with these local vendors and Santa.
