Sculpture walk awards handed out

'My Pi' by John Adduci won the top prize at the 2022-2023 Perrysburg Sculpture Walk.

The Jurors awards for the Perrysburg Sculpture Walk were awarded Saturday afternoon.

Selected by the judges from the 16 sculptures were:

  • First Place, $2,000, “My Pi,” by Chicago artist John Adduci.
  • Second Place, $1,000, “Around the Gate” by Ray Katz of Pontiac, Michigan.
  • Third Place, $750, “Questions,” by Robert Garcia, Whitehouse.
  • Honorable mention, “Oak Leaf Arch II,” by Jim Gallucci, Greensboro, North Carolina.

The awards were announced by Shawn Morin, of the BGSU School of Art, who juried the show with Glenn Zweygardt, sculptor and Alfred University professor emeritus. 

The sculpture walk will be up in Woodlands Park through August, 2023.
