Sheriff’s Office looking for person of interest in homicide (Update)

Josephine Torres, named as a person of interest in a recent Wood County homicide, has contacted the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, and is no longer being sought.

The Wood County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in locating Josephine Torres, who is a person of interest in a recent Wood County homicide.

The most recent homicide in the county occurred last week, and involved Billy Hamilton Sr., 67, in Stony Ridge.

Torres is 5-feet tall, weighs 189 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. She is believed to be in the Toledo area.
