State Fire Marshal’s Office to hold public meeting with BG Fire Division and the community

The command staff of the State Fire Marshal’s Office will hold a meeting in Bowling Green on Thursday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to noon, with the BG Fire Division at the Veterans Memorial Building in City Park, 520 Conneaut Ave.

The meeting is free and open to the public.

The Ohio Department of Commerce Division of State Fire Marshal is conducting a statewide tour to foster stronger connections with members of Ohio’s fire service community and the public.

These free events will allow firefighters and community members throughout the state to engage directly with State Fire Marshal leadership about a wide range of safety-related topics. In addition to the administrative arm of the division, command staff representatives from each of State Fire Marshal’s seven bureaus will share information, answer questions, and discuss how their work impacts the fire service and protects communities throughout Ohio.

In addition to State Fire Marshal Kevin Reardon and Chief Deputy Richard Sluder, representatives will attend from the Bureau of Testing and Registration, Ohio Fire Academy, Code Enforcement Bureau, Fire & Explosion Investigation Bureau, Bureau of Underground Storage Tanks Regulations, Forensic Lab and Fire Prevention Bureau
