Susanne M. “Susie” Donnal, 57, of Monclova, Ohio passed away June 17, 2025. She was born July 18, 1967 in Toledo, Ohio to Paul and Vera (Patton) Reid. She married Ron Donnal on January 20, 1990 and he survives.
She was a 1985 graduate of Anthony Wayne High School where she excelled as a multi-sport athlete and was later inducted into the Anthony Wayne Hall of Fame. She continued her athletic career playing volleyball at BGSU. Susie worked as a teacher at Anthony Wayne Schools for many years until her retirement. She was a member of Community of Christ Church in Whitehouse, Ohio.
Susie was incredibly gifted at all forms of crafting and enjoyed making personalized apparel, sports gear and special order items for friends and family. She enjoyed gardening, reading, drinking coffee and baking sourdough bread. She especially enjoyed spending time at the lake with her family.
Susie’s greatest joy was her boys. She loved supporting them through all of their athletic endeavors and was their biggest fan.
Along with her husband of 35 years, Ron, Susie is survived by her sons Andrew Donnal (Jenna) of Chicago, Illinois and Mark Donnal (Erika) of Detroit, Michigan, her mother Vera Reid and brothers Kirk Reid (Kelly) and Joel Reid (Michelle).
She was preceded in death by her father Paul Reid.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 24, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home, 7220 Dutch Rd. Waterville, Oho 43566. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday June 25, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Community of Christ Lutheran Church, 6517 Finzel Rd. Whitehouse, Ohio 43571.
Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to the Anthony Wayne Education Association Scholarship Fund or Community of Christ Lutheran Church.
