Teens’ billboard designs urge drivers to keep their eyes on the road

From SAFE COMMUNITIES OF WOOD COUNTY

Camden Taylor from BG Christian and Rileigh Clair from Rossford High School are grand prize winners in the Safe Communities of Wood County’s Teen Distracted Driving Billboard Contest. They were awarded $250 gift cards for their designs

These designs will be visible starting March 25 on Lamar Advertising Billboards at State Route 25 at Newton Road as well as State Route 795 at Lime City Road.

The billboards will be in place for 30 days.

A total of 44 students entered the contest and received a $25 gift card as a token of appreciation for their designs. All designs will be featured in April for Distracted Driving Month on the Safe Communities of Wood County’s social media platforms.

Rex Huffman from Spitler Law Offices and Amazon made major contributions to the contest. Many others donated $25 gift cards.
