Thomas W. Halladay, 82, of Fremont Indiana passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024. He was born on April 6, 1941 to the late Charles (Chic) Halladay and Georgia (Jo) (Helberg) Isaacs in Bowling Green, Ohio. He married Sue (Moore) Halladay on October 25, 1958, who has preceded him in death in 2006. He married Karen Halladay on August 21, 2007 and she survives.
Tom graduated from Bowling Green High School and entered the Air Force where he served his country for 4 years. He retired from Cooper Standard Automotive. He was an avid golfer with his friend Gary and was a racing fan, he loved going to the races with his friend Mike and daughter Shelli. He loved camping and hanging out with Wes, and Crimson, and kids, and many friends at the campground. He loved mowing Jim’s yard.
Tom is survived by his wife Karen Halladay; son Tom (Jo) Halladay II of Weston, Ohio; daughter Shelli (Mike Kozak) Halladay of Weston, Ohio; and son-in-law Brian Mozena of Tontogany, Ohio; step-sons James (Theresa Kill) Elston of Defiance, Ohio, Wes (Crimson) Parrish of Fremont, Indiana; sister Mary Jo (Akers) Baumbarger, Rossford, Ohio; sister-in-law Marsha (Rod) Armstrong of Greenville, Ohio, and beloved dog Corky.
Tom leaves behind 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Along with Tom’s loving wife Sue, he was preceded in death by daughters Julie Cox of Oregon, Ohio, and Lori Mozena of Tontogany, Ohio, son-in-law Mike Cox, and stepdaughter Shelley Elston of Indiana, stepdaughter-in-law Kim Elston of Indiana, and a very loving Mother-in-Law Zola.
Visitation for Tom will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of his Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 PM in the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, 1460 W. Wooster St., Bowling Green, Ohio. Interment will immediately follow in Wood County Memory Gardens.
