Welcome BG is planning a Social Service Agency Expo on Friday, May 17, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Wood County District Public Library, 251 N. Main St., Bowling Green.
The event is designed to acquaint local residents with social services in the community. Several agencies and non-profits will be there to talk about services they offer and how they can benefit residents.
Services that have confirmed they will be at the expo include: Not In Our Town Bowling Green, Global Connections, St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, The Cocoon, Penta Career Center, Wood County Health Department, Wood County District Public Library, Welcome BG, United Way 211, City of BG, Wood County Sheriff Department, LaConexion, Office of the Ohio Consumer, Child Support Enforcement Agency, Wood County Job and Family Services, Care Source and Harbor.
The expo is a Welcome BG event in collaboration with Wood County Health Department.
Lunch will be provided by Akash Singh and dessert by Dairy Queen.
The event is open to the public, with free admission.
