Weston man arrested after allegedly threatening hospital emergency department staff

A Weston man brought by EMS to Wood County Hospital was arrested Friday night (Jan. 9) after allegedly threatening multiple emergency department staff.

Vincent Bolton, 34, was cited for menacing, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstructing official business.

When Bowling Green Police arrived at the hospital, they reportedly encountered Bolton  staggering out the ambulance bay doors. An ER doctor told police that the belligerent and intoxicated patient had threatened multiple staff members and kept challenging him to fight in the parking lot.

Bolton, who reportedly resisted police arrest, was taken to Wood County Jail.
