Habitat for Humanity of Wood County has announced the start of the 2025 Mike Cray Blitz Build, a project dedicated to providing affordable housing for two families in Bradner. People are invited to join as Habitat blesses the ground for two new homes for the Dowden and Patton families on Thursday, April 3, at 5:30 p.m., at 121 Maple St., Bradner.

The Mike Cray Blitz Build is a fast-paced home-building initiative that will see two homes constructed simultaneously in Bradner. This year, Habitat will partner with Ridge Stone Builders, Lakeside Interiors, and community volunteers to make homeownership a reality for the Patton and Dowden families.

These homes mark the 56th and 57th homes built by Habitat for Humanity of Wood County, a milestone in the mission to create safe, affordable housing for families in need.

Habitat for Humanity of Wood County is seeking corporate partners and volunteers to support this project. By contributing time, resources, or financial support, partners and volunteers can help Habitat build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.
