William “Bill” LaForce, 54, of Bowling Green, died unexpectedly on March 21, 2025. Bill was born to William and Dorothy LaForce in Baltimore County, Maryland, on November 21, 1970. He was preceded in death by his father.
Bill graduated from Mountain Lakes High School in 1988. He graduated from the University of Baltimore Summa Cum Laude in 1994. He then received his Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo in 1998. Most recently, Bill earned his teaching certificate in 2023 and was employed at Toledo Public Schools as a math teacher.
Bill had many different hobbies and interests. When his children were young, he took great pride in being a Boy Scout den leader for his oldest son, Nick, and coaching baseball for Jimmy. Bill was an entrepreneur who owned and worked a food truck in Columbia, Maryland, and then opened an aircraft-inspired pizza shop called Night Flight Pizza in Bowling Green. He was an avid golfer who loved to spend time with family and friends on the course. Bill was also a naturally talented musician. Mastering the guitar was a great passion of his. He belonged to several bands throughout his life, playing live music and teaching the craft to others as well. Bill also held a pilot’s license and rebuilt a 1970 Chevrolet Nova.
Bill loved his family tremendously and is survived by his wife of 34 years, Julianne LaForce. His immediate family is his children, Nicholas (Allison) and James; granddaughters, Meredith and Isabelle; mother, Dorothy; brother, Glenn (Jennifer); and many nieces, nephews, friends, and Golden Retriever, Hank.
A memorial gathering will occur at the Veterans Building in City Park, Bowling Green, on April 19, 2025, from 1 -4 pm.
