BG Council committee to hold meeting to hear from public on safety and transportation proposals

The Transportation and Safety Committee of Bowling Green City Council will hold a meeting on Monday, June 30, at 6 p.m.

The main safety-related topic will be the city administration’s current proposal to renovate the police facility and build two new fire facilities. The main transportation-related topic will be the administration’s proposal to reallocate the 1.5% income tax and the opportunity to modify the proposal to increase funding for street and sidewalk repair.  

The intent of the meeting is to have an opportunity to hear from the public concerning these issues.

The meeting will be held in the council chambers located in the City Administrative Services Building, 305 N. Main St.
