Henry Engard, a member of Klassy Kids 4-H Club, and his mother, Danielle, prepare one of the many projects he entered in Crafts and Hobbies judging this year.
Members and advisors for the Colorful Clovers 4-H Club work on the club’s 4-H booth, using a roller coaster theme. Their booth is one of the many clubs’ booths that display projects and information about the program. Each club picks a theme and decorates their booth accordingly.
Members of the County Livestock Action Project (CLAP) work on setting up in the Pratt Pavilion a brand new show arena, which the organization funded 100%. The arena addition includes approximately 150 more bleacher seats.
Joe Konecny enters his lamp creation in the Industrial Technology department. The lamp, that he titled “Under Pressure,” features pressure cooker gauges in the unique design. Creating lamps has become his hobby for relaxation; he has entered lamps in the county fair judging for many years.
Because she was heading to Ohio State Fair judging on Friday, Evelyn Souvenier, Beaver Creek Boosters 4-H Club, gets an early start in preparing the livestock pen for her beef feeder project at the Wood County Fair.
