Look back on Monday at the Wood County Fair & see what’s scheduled for Tuesday

The Pee Wee livestock shows are always fun to watch. The Pee Wee Swine Show had so many precious moments, including this one that captures Amos Culp (right) showing the pig before he was selected the top showman in the third round.

Tuesday (July 29) at the Wood County Fair features a day of events for Seniors, the annual quilt show and a plethora of livestock shows. Below is the schedule for Tuesday and five miscellaneous photos from activities and events at the fair on Monday.

TUESDAY, JULY 29

Senior Day/Quilt Day: Seniors 60+ admitted free

Daily Activities: Chainsaw Carver Shows, Sheriff Stretch, Axe Throwing, Ovation Circus Acts

8 a.m. – Gates open

8 a.m. – Breeding gilt/State Fair swine must be released, Pavilion

8-10 a.m. – Quilt show entries, Pavilion Conference Room

8:30 a.m.- County-born and raised swine show, Pavilion

9 a.m. – Jr. Fair horse English show, Horse Arena

9 a.m. – Tractor Operator’s Contest, infield

9 a.m. – Senior Day: Matthew Ball, “The Motor City Boogie Woogie Kid,” provides swing music 1930s to 1960s; coffee & donuts, Free Tent

10 a.m. – Jr. Fair Dairy/Performance goat show, The Grove
