Community invited to ‘sorting party’ to benefit disadvantaged children, Sept. 11

From CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS

The community is invited to help disadvantaged children by attending a “sorting party” at the Perrysburg chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 11050 Avenue Road. Participants will sort thousands of crochet squares that will be used to make comfort blankets for children living in unstable housing situations. The event will take place on Thursday, Sept. 11, a National Day of Service, from 6 – 8 p.m.

No crochet skills are needed to participate in this event. The sorting party is sponsored by JustServe.org and LOVE.
