On Thursday, Oct. 2, at 7:30 p.m., the music business technology students from Owens Community College will present the opening concert of the 10th annual, 2025-26, Accent on the Arts concert series, featuring pianist Gerardo Teissonnière. Prior to the concert, guests are welcome to attend “Classical Music in the Twenty-First Century,” a free workshop at 4:30 p.m. The workshop and concert are partially sponsored by a grant from the Ohio Arts Council.
Beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Walter E. Terhune Art Gallery, attendees can also enjoy a solo show by artist Julia LaBay. More information on this show can be found here.
Accent on the Arts is a free concert series designed, booked, promoted, and presented by music business technology students. This concert will be in the 526-seat Mainstage Theatre, in the Center for Fine and Performing Arts, on the Owens Community College Toledo Campus. The Center for Fine and Performing Arts is located at 7270 Biniker Road, Perrysburg.
