The Bowling Green High School (BGHS) Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) has teamed up with local business, Retro Detailing, to launch a fundraiser: a donation giveaway campaign featuring Taylor Swift collectibles.
The campaign offers supporters the chance to win limited edition vinyl and CD variants of Taylor Swift’s upcoming album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” releasing Oct. 3.
“Every dollar we raise goes right back to our teachers and students,” said Dusty Pendleton, a BGHS PTO volunteer. Pendleton, who also co-owns Retro Detailing with her husband Doug, helped coordinate the campaign.
Prizes include:
- Free entry: Portofino orange vinyl (no donation required)
- $10 donation: Lakeside blue or green marbled vinyl (sold-out editions)
- $25 donation: crewneck and Spotify “Fans First” box set (exclusive merch)
Entries are open now through Oct. 31, with winners announced by Nov. 10. Donations for this giveaway are not tax-deductible.

Retro Detailing is sponsoring the campaign in partnership with BGHS PTO. Funds raised will directly support BGHS teacher grants and student programs during the 2025-26 school year.
