SUBMITTED BY HORIZON YOUTH THEATRE
Horizon Youth Theatre is proud to present The Big Bad Musical, directed by Mikayla Trimpey, through special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service. Based on classic storybook characters with book by Alec Strum and music and lyrics by Bill Francoeur, the musical featuring students ages 6 to 12 will be performed at the Town Hall Theater at 24287 Front St, Grand Rapids, Ohio on November 7 and 8 at 7:00 pm and November 9 at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $15 and $12 (group pricing available) and can be purchased on our website or at the door. Seating is general admission.
From Pioneer’s website: “A courtroom has never been more lively and fun than in The Big Bad Musical! This smart and wickedly funny musical is great for actors and audiences of any age. The jury (the audience!) must decide the outcome of the biggest trial ever in the fairly tale world. The notorious Big Bad Wolf is being slapped with a class-action lawsuit by quirky storybook characters who want to get even. With Sydney Grimm as the commentator on live Court TV, the two greatest legal minds in the Enchanted Forest – the Evil Stepmother and Fairy Godmother – clash in a trial that will be remembered forever after. Mr. Wolf makes a good case for himself – was he born a criminal, or made one?” The audience decides, potentially leading to different endings at every show!
